猫と、海岸で拾った自然物をテーマに制作しました。
モチーフから連想される要素を捉えつつ、偶発的な絵具の表情を残しながら、和紙の質感を活かし画面を構築しています。
ブルーエッジのアクリル板を使用し、作品を額装しています。
観賞する角度によって色彩が変化し、側面に描かれた表情を楽しむことができ、視覚的な多層性を持たせています。
アクリル板の額装仕上げです。
壁にかけたり、置いて展示が可能です。

“Spinning”

Materials: hemp paper, mineral pigments, watercolor, colored pencil, pastel, gofun (shell white), marker, and aluminum leaf

This work is based on my cat together with small natural objects collected along the seashore.

While responding to associations suggested by the motifs, I constructed the composition by preserving accidental textures created by the paint and making use of the surface quality of washi paper.

The work is framed with blue-edged acrylic glazing. The color appearance subtly shifts depending on the viewing angle, and painted elements along the edges of the work create a sense of visual layering.

This piece can be displayed either hanging on a wall or placed on a surface.
